The University of Toronto’s Women’s Advocacy and Outreach organization (WAO) aims to create a safe space for proactive, passionate, self-identifying women to help make a difference in women’s issues in our community and worldwide. Members are given a variety of ways to get involved, from attending events and initiatives to planning fundraisers, we empower students to advocate in their own way. Subsequently, we build a community of life-minded students to come together, network and create change.
