What’s On

We’re excited to announce that we’ve officially partnered with The Princeton Review to offer our members exclusive discounts on their prep courses! This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to prep for exams like the MCAT, LSAT, GRE, and more. We’ll be sharing discount codes soon, so keep an eye out!

Welcome to the official podcast for Women’s Advocacy and Outreach, also referred to as WAO, at the University of Toronto! In our debut episode, Empowering Voices and Uniting for Change, we introduce the WAO team, diving into who we are and the work we do to foster advocacy and empowerment. Joining us are four amazing guests: two members of our Newsletter team, our Head of Outreach, and our Vice President. Together, they share their unique perspectives, roles, and experiences, highlighting the passion and dedication behind our initiatives.

Abuse is Not Love Workshop

On Friday November 29th we partnered with @yslbeauty and @endvawnetwork to present Abuse is Not Love. Here our attendees learned about domestic abuse and how it can be prevented and brought to justice!

Our first fundraiser for Aura Freedom took place on Wednesday, November 13th inside Sidney Smith from 1:30-4:30 pm. We hosted a Period Simulator event with delicious Krispy Kreme donuts! Thank you to everyone who came and supported this amazing cause. 🤍 @aurafreedom

We are thrilled to announce that our club will be supporting Aura Freedom International this year. Their amazing work in promoting gender equality and combating human trafficking and gender-based violence aligns perfectly with our mission. We can’t wait to raise awareness and funds for this important cause together. 💜 @aurafreedom
