2023/2024 Women’s Advocacy and Outreach Report Recap
The Women’s Advocacy and Outreach (WAO) team is thrilled to reflect on the incredible achievements of the past year, all made possible through the unwavering support of our amazing community. Here’s a look back at what we accomplished together during the 2023/2024 school year:
Key Achievements
- Fundraising Success: Through various events and initiatives, we raised an impressive $1,500 CAD.
- Donations for Change: We collected over 300 menstrual products, which were donated directly to our chosen non-profit organization, The Period Purse. These contributions are helping to make menstrual products more accessible and are reducing period stigma through education and advocacy.
We are immensely proud of these accomplishments and grateful to everyone who participated, donated, and championed our cause. Together, we made a meaningful impact!
WAO 2024 Annual Convention Highlights
The 2nd Annual Women’s Advocacy and Outreach Convention was an incredible success, bringing together a vibrant community for an afternoon filled with empowerment, entertainment, and inspiration.
